The European Kyokushin-Karate Organisation (EKO) is the European regional branch of the International Karate Organization (IKO) Kyokushinkaikan with headquarters in Japan. After Kyokushin Karate's founder late Sosai Masutatsu Oyama's death in 1994, Kancho Yoshikazu Matsushima, Hanshi John Taylor, Shihan Hiroshi Masuda, Shihan Roman Szyrajev and many other emblematic top instructors carried on with the organization, building it up to what we have today, with members from more than 60 countries, spreading Masutatsu Oyama's Kyokushin Karate-Do in five continents.
